Bridges & Bows is a full service sales, rental and repair shop for violins, violas, and cellos. We also have a large selection of accessories such as strings, rosen, shoulder rests, bows and cases.
Since our founding in 2006, Bridges and Bows has helped many hundreds of students gain access to high-quality instruments, and supported many local arts organizations through donations and advertising.
Our strongest assets are the helpful information and service we give to students and parents, and the amount of time we can spend installing new strings or discussing music.
As of 2018, we are now proudly serving the following towns: Acton, Andover, Ashby, Ayer, Bedford, Billerica, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Dracut, Dunstable, Fitchburg, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Littleton, Lowell, Lunenburg Methuen, North Andover, Pepperell, Shirley, Stow, Tewksbury, Townsend, and Westford Massachusetts as well as the Hudson, Merrimack, and Nashua New Hampshire.
Violin, viola and cello rentals are available any time without an appointment.
Bridges & Bows was founded to give students a local business where they could rent higher quality instruments, in addition to receiving repair and maintenance help from trained string professionals. We feel it is important for string players of all levels to receive hands-on help with proper sizing, fitting of shoulder rests, discussing the sound properties of different strings or rosin, and selecting a safe and affordable case.Request a Rental Today
